Every year, on the last Sunday in April, one of the best-known food festivals in the whole of the province of Málaga is held: “El Día de la Morcilla”, during which over 300 kilos of this product – much prized for its distinctive seasoning and flavour – are handed out, accompanied by an excellent local wine.
Provincial Tourist Attraction Festival, which coincides with the feast day of the Virgen de la Cabeza.
Throughout the day, locals and visitors can sample the traditional black pudding made in the town, served with bread and wine. The programme also includes a procession of the Virgin through the town’s streets.
